What We Do

What Happened during  A mission trip

We travel to Tena in the Napo province and evaluate patients with neurological disorders (mostly epilepsy)  in collaboration with the primary care staff of the local community hospital. We have a lot of pediatric patients; therefore, Child Neurologists will have priority. We see a variety of neurological disease which may be of interest for residents with interest in international neurology.  If you or someone  that you know is interested in volunteering, please let us know. We have limited funding for housing, meals and transportation for our volunteers. In the last 8 years we have evaluated and treated over 2024 patients and performed  over 388 EEGs. The opportunity to share your knowledge with Ecuadorian colleagues and patients.
